Adult classes
Aerial classes give you a thrilling experience where you will learn many acrobatic and athletic skills in order to develop a strong core and improve your balance, flexibility and coordination. With regular training and being part of an aerial community, you can also boost your confidence, teamwork and self-esteem.
Our classes have an artistic element that provides a graceful and elegant twist to the practice. It is a combination of art, fitness and acrobatics, with loads of adrenaline and fun.
No previous experience? No worries, we have classes for all levels, including beginners. You can also try a taster workshop before enrolling in a course.

In these classes you will perform aerial acrobatic movements using a fabric (the so-called silks) that is suspended from the ceiling. You will wrap yourself in the silks and hold different positions in the air. You will also suspend, swing and spin your body in various ways, and when you have enough skills and confidence, you will be allowed to perform different types of drops high up in the air.

LEVELS

Beginner - suitable for people with no previous experience in Aerial Silks.
​
Improver - suitable for people who have already learned the basics of Aerial Silks - climbing, standing, double foot lock, and straddles near the ground.
​
Pre-intermediate - suitable for people who have a good knowledge about aerial movements and can safely perform a straddle in the air without assistance.
​
Intermediate - suitable for people who have a consolidated knowledge about aerial movements. You must be able to perform without assistance the following: three consecutive straddles in the air with straight legs (on both sides); dubble star; helicopter; flag to front to back balance.
In these classes you will learn to perform aerial acrobatic movements using a hoop – a circular apparatus suspended from the ceiling. You will mount the hoop in various positions and learn many different tricks, such as the popular ‘Man in the Moon’ and ‘Mermaid’ moves.

LEVELS

Beginner - suitable for people with no previous experience in Aerial Hoop.
Improver - suitable for people who have already learned the basics of Aerial Hoop – safely mounting and dismounting from the hoop in several ways, and some combinations of basic tricks, such as amazon, gazelle and front balance.

​Pre-intermediate - suitable for people who have a good knowledge about aerial hoop movements and can safely perform a small range of climbs, spins and leg hangs, including tricks such as Butterfly and Pretzel.

​Intermediate - suitable for people who have a consolidated knowledge about aerial hoop movements and have the confidence and skills to combine different tricks and work on the top bar. For instance, the participant must be able to mount the hoop by straddle under the bar or ball up, pull over to front balance, and be comfortable with spinning.
Aerial Straps is an apparatus closely related to the Olympic Rings whereby you perform movements in the air using two belt-like 'ropes' (straps). Unlike other aerial apparatus that require a climbing technique, with straps you will learn how to hang by your arms and add spins and other dynamics, such as swings, beats and drops. Over time, you will develop a combination of strength, flexibility and mobility, which will allow you to create beautiful movements and figures.

LEVELS

Mixed-level - We currently only offer mixed-level classes, which are suitable for people with any level of experience - from beginners to advanced.
In this class you will learn how to support your body in a stable, inverted position by balancing on your hands. You will start with a basic handstand whereby you keep your body straight with legs and arms fully extended, and then move on to more difficult positions. This practice works your core, shoulders, arms and back, and it also improve your balance. It also teaches your brain to become more comfortable with defying gravity.

Mixed-level - We currently only offer mixed-level classes, which are suitable for people with any level of experience - from beginners to advanced.
Dance trapeze refers to a trapeze used in aerial dance, where the ropes are attached to a single swivel, allowing the trapeze to spin easily. In this class you will be introduced to fundamental trapeze shapes and figures, combined with great transitions, swings, spins and drops.

Intermediate - suitable for people who are able to ball under the bar, sit, stand confidently and have a good working knowledge of bar apparatus.
